+William E. May, Ph.D, former professor, School of Religious Studies (1971-1991), passed away December 13, 2014. +Berard Marthaler, OFM Conv., Conventual Franciscan Friar; professor/professor emeritus, School of Theology and Religious Studies; and member of St. Bonaventure Friary in Silver Spring, MD, passed away Nov. 30, 2014. The wake service will take place Friday, Dec. 5, from 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Francis J. Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD 20901. The Mass of Christian Burial will held on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 1029 Monroe St. NE (corner of 12 St. NE), Washington, DC 20064.
