The House: A CUA Tradition since 1973

"The House" has been around for over 35 years.  It started as a off-campus House with students living together in an intentional Chrisitian community.  When it was moved onto campus and into a wing of Caldwell Hall, it became the residence of Campus Ministry student staff.  Today, The House continues its ministry to the CUA community with intentional outreach in first-year residence halls and weekly events for prayer and fellowship

House Mass: Every Tuesday at 8pm the House is the location for a vibrant Mass with a guest priest celebrant.  For many students this a second opportunity to gather for worship in addition to the Sunday liturgy.

Friday Nights:  Every Friday night the House hosts a social event to help build a community of faith on campus through authentic Christian fellowship.  They are geared towards underclassmen as a non-alcohol alternative to other weekend activity, but all CUA students are welcome.  They include both on and off-campus events and have ranged from trips to a Nationals game to lazor tag in the Dufour Center.
