Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC)

Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC) is a national organization with the mission to serve Catholic athletes and share the Gospel in and through athletics.  In 2008, the first college chapter of CAC began at the Catholic University of America as a ministry to athletes on campus. In its eighth year now, the CAC chapter on campus seeks to meet the spiritual needs of athletes through weekly meetings, an annual retreat, and by providing representatives that serve as resources to teams and coaches.

Weekly Meetings, Fall 2015

  • Mondays, 8-9 PM in the Campus Ministry Lounge
  • Open to all CUA athletes in Varsity, Intramural and Club sports

Athletes' Retreat: November 20-22, 2015

The annual Athlete's Retreat, sponsored by CAC, was open to all CUA athletes in NCAA, Intramural and Club Sports.  The retreat was held at Camp Letts in Edgewater, MD and featureed talks by four NCAA athletes, discussion, time for prayer, and, of course, competition.  Some photos from the weekend can be seen below.
