The History of Greccio

On a winter’s night over 800 years ago St. Francis of Assisi, with the generosity of a friend, gathered animals and folks, rich and poor, country and city people, to the mountainside hermitage of Greccio Italy to celebrate Christmas anew. Tonight on our own sacred ground, we gather to recall that celebration of the Incarnation.
