Encounter the Spirit is a charismatic praise and worship group that gathers together to give glory and honor to the Lord in thanksgiving for all He is doing in our lives. As we praise Him in song, we recognize that He is Lord over everything and that He loves us with an unfailing love. We strive to come to know Him better by listening to Him deep within our hearts. By praying with each other, we recognize each other as brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ, and ask Christ to minister to our needs and bring us closer to Him.

Pope John XXIII prayed for "a new Pentecost", and we continue to see the fruits of this prayer in the Church today. The Holy Spirit is moving within the Church in a powerful way and is bestowing His gifts in abundance. By surrendering ourselves to the movements of the Holy Spirit, as Mary did, we desire to put ourselves at the service of the Church for the building up of the Body.

Join us for open meetings in Caldwell Chapel Mondays from 8pm-9:30pm on
