Freshman Weekend 2016: Setting Sail

Welcome to CUA! As incoming first-year students, you come with great expectations and potential, with great fears yet great anticipation. It is an entirely new time in your lives. It is a time to take root in your new life as you study, as you form new friendships, as you welcome new experiences. It is a time to be filled with enthusiasm and excitement, with the joy and the thrill that comes with the transition into collegiate life.

It is a time to Set Sail, with this community, as you set out on the journey of the next four years. Like with any new experience, help is needed along the way with any questions, concerns, and worries. It is our mission to answer your questions, help you through your concerns, and make you feel welcomed, ready, and inspired as you enter into life at CUA. Freshman Weekend provides an opportunity to do just that!

Join us from September 9-11 with 300 of your fellow first-year students on Freshman Weekend 2016 for an amazing experience full of talks and fellowship, prayer and games. Find time not only to make new friendships with others, but also find and strengthen your relationship with God. There is no better way to begin your college career!  Come and learn what it truly means to Set Sail at CUA! Sign up today.

Location: Sandy Hill Camp, North East, MD - The camp is about 20 minutes north of Havre de Grace in Northern Maryland and 90 minutes from campus.

For more information, please e-mail Michael Phelan, Associate Campus Minister or the Freshman Retreat Team Leaders.
